In loving memory of Mark Baird
4/12/1923 - 12/18/2015

Location: Oracle, Arizona

Visits: 15,763

This memorial was created in honor of Marshall "Mark" W. Baird of Oracle, Arizona. He was born on April 12, 1923 in El Paso, Texas, and passed on December 18, 2015 in Catalina, AZ.

Mark wore many 'boots'; as paratrooper, rancher, father, Poppa, and husband. He dedicated his young life to the military and continued a life of service, devoted to his family and community. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all his family, friends, and fellow troopers.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Margaret and Craig Keane of Oro Valley, AZ; his son Bill Baird and Jacque of Catalina, AZ; his loving granddaughters, Abbie, Maggie, and Stephanie; four great-grandsons Nikolas, D'Angelo, Landon, and Liam; and sisters, Margaret and Charlotte. He is preceded in death by his wife Rita, parents Mabel and Bill, and brother Joe. He will always be remembered by many nieces and nephews that have wonderful stories of their Uncle Mark.
Our family is deeply saddened, but grateful for the many years we shared with him.

Memorial services will be announced shortly.

"If a man dies, can he live again? [Job 14:14] Can a lifeless person who is sleeping in death be brought back to life? This grave will be emptied. All those billions who rest there will live again. The apostle Paul said: "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous". Therefore, you can look forward to seeing your dead loved ones again! Jehovah God will resurrect them.

To the family of Mark Baird. I am so sorry for the loss of your love one. Death is not natural and that's why it hurts when it happen. May the family find comfort reading what is promised us at John 5:28, 29. May the GOD of comfort ease your pain.
