Death is our greatest enemy and the death of a loved one is extremely difficult to endure. But the bible tells us at Psalm 34:18, 19, that “Jehovah is close to the broken-hearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit.” God will also “wipe out every tear” from our eyes and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. (Revelations 21:4) No matter what anguish, or suffering we may experience, God can give us the strength to cope. This article found on Jw.org can help you further cope with the loss of your loved one. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/watchtower-no2-2019-may-jun/when-your-loved-one-dies/

The loss of our, loved one, is a very sad moment and may leave us with unanswered questions, one such question is “Where is the dead”? To find the right answer we would want to ponder on the bible, God’s word for the answer, Genesis 3:19. “In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return.” Adam, he had no existence before Jehovah created him from the dust of the ground. So, when he died, he became as lifeless as the dust from which he was created. He ceased to exist. How tragic! Does this mean, when we die, that is the end of us, is there no hope?
