We read in the Bible that Jehovah God will: "Swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25:8) Like a father who removes the cause of his children’s suffering and dries their eyes, Jehovah takes great joy in bringing death to nothing! Jesus cooperates with him. We read at 1 Corinthians 15:22: “In the Christ all will be made alive."

Oh. I am sorry to hear you have lost your loved one Erik in death. I know from personal experience that loosing loved ones like Erik is very painful and hard to deal with. That is why I am sending you my condolences today. When Jesus was living on earth, he cried when his good friend Lazarus died. (John 11:33-35) Jesus then restored Lazarus' life by resurrecting him and then he returned him to his grieving family members. Jesus explained that all people who die have the hope of living again on a cleansed earth. (John 5:27-29) I look forward to this time! Death is an enemy to us all. (1 Corinthians 15:26)I hope that you will see Erik alive again and healthy on earth. For more scriptural information on the resurrection of the dead and other topics, please look on the website jw.org. My condolences for your loss.
