Jehovah God did not create humans to live short lives and eventually die. His purpose was for us to live forever in a beautiful paradise earth, unfortunately because of Adam and Eve’s sin, we die (Romans 5:12). However, Jehovah promises us at Revelations 21:4 that “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore”, all these things that take away our happiness will be done away with. Jehovah God promises us life without end in perfection on a paradise earth! For more comforting thoughts please feel free to visit www.jw.org

The loss of our, loved one, is a very sad moment and may leave us with unanswered questions, one such question is “Where is the dead”? To find the right answer we would want to ponder on the bible, God’s word for the answer, Genesis 3:19. “In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return.” Adam, he had no existence before Jehovah created him from the dust of the ground. So, when he died, he became as lifeless as the dust from which he was created. He ceased to exist. How tragic! Does this mean, when we die, that is the end of us, is there no hope?
