Jesus taught that someday "all those in the memorial tombs" will be resurrected. (John 5:28) Jehovah is the Creator of all life. Should it be hard to believe that he can re-create life? Of course, much would depend on Jehovah's memory. Can he remember our dead loved ones? Countless trillions of stars fill the universe, yet God knows the name of each one! (Isaiah 40:26) So Jehovah God can remember our dead loved ones in every detail, and he is ready to restore them to life.

My heartfelt condolences to the Donadio family and friends. I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort through the loving and happy memories of your beloved John. May you also look to our Loving Heavenly Father, the God of all comfort, to provide what you need at this very sad time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4, Psalms 83:18). He promises us that very soon, He will eliminate sickness and death forever. "He will wipe every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Revelation 21:3,4, Isaiah 33:24. What a wonderful promise! May all of His promises give you a measure of hope, comfort, peace and strength. I have personally found very comforting thoughts concerning God's promises at jw.org
