This memorial was created in honor of Jesse Willie Streeter of Birmingham, Alabama. Jesse was born on March 22, 1925 in Union Springs,Alabama to the late Rev. Robert Streeter ,Sr and late Mattie Henderson Streeter. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at an early age and Joined Hayes Hill Baptist Church in Midway,Al. He joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church in 1950 under the leasership of Rev. Ambus Hill. In His over 60 years of service ,he has been a deacon,trustee,Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent of the Sunday School. Over the years , Deacon Jesse Streeter received recogniton for his work at the church and in the community. He loved God, his family,his church, and his church family and did everyhting he could to make sure his family and church family was safe and secure. He departed this life on January 25,2015.
