This memorial was created in honor of Willard "Jake" JC Waits of Decatur, Alabama. Willard was born on November 8, 1938 in Moulton and passed on January 11, 2017. Willard was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all friends and family.
Funeral service for Willard J.C.Waits, 78, will be Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Glover officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Mr. Waits died on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born November 8, 1938, in Lawrence County to James A Waits and Linnie Elsie Lackey Waits. Mr. Waits attended Faith Chapel Church and was retired from Nestle Products after 25 years and he also served in the National Guard for six years. Mr. Waits was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Paulette Waits and a daughter, Leigh Russell.
