Pappy was one awesome guy, I so enjoyed spending my time with him on the Iditarod trail, I'll never forget that lead dog "RED", Pappy would pull right up behind my sled then go to sleep, I'd yell back to him when we would come up on a steep drop off and wake him . A great time and a great guy.... RIP ol buddy, enjoy that final sled run...

Dad came to visit me in montana. He would strap his oxygen bottle to the front of the 3 wheeler and I would get a horse and we would ride the horse trails on teakettle mountain. This was at the age of 90.
