Elaine, I remember vividly, me and other friends going to your house around Christmas time and getting cake and sorrel. Your mom was very generous with the servings. If she gave all visitors as much as she gave us, she did a lot of baking and sorrel making over the season. It was delicious! We loved it. I still miss those times.
