Along about 1959 or 1960 Joe had bought a mustard-colored VW bug. He was very proud of it, so he bought a mustard-colored wardrobe to match.
Also, we sat watching the show down on TV of the Bay of Pigs incident. I was completely panicked as I sat in my Uncle Joe’s lap watching the news. He was very kind in helping me calm down and understand that the Russians weren’t about to bomb our house. I really appreciated him.
