Aww how I am going to miss you JB. Miss him pulling his pranks on me, calling me up to give me crap. I can see him now rubbing his hands together and saying out loud “what can I do next to piss her off”.- in a good way. He was definitely a very vibrant man who had strong work ethics and told all of his kids to never give up. I was blessed to have him as my father in law. You will definitely be missed by all. Love you and will always cherish the laughter you brought into my life and being there for Troy

I've known "JB" (My grandpa) for what felt like forever, I loved him more than words can describe. He was there for me through the thick and thin, and made me smile on my worst days. He was always cracking jokes and playing tricks on me, that's one thing I'll never forget. I have so many good memories I will charish forever, he will be missed. I love you grandpa, thank you for everything.

I’ve had the honor of getting to know JB for the last 18 years. He has always been a good friend and conversationalist to anyone that knew him. He was always laughing and playing jokes on you. He was a loving husband, father and friend.
He will be missed.

Gerald “JB” Bennett passed away peacefully October 16th, 2018 with is wife and daughter by his side. He was born on September 24, 1934 in Lawton, Oklahoma and was a Comanche Indian. JB left the reservation and served in Korea with the Navy Air and was recently recognized along with several of his brothers for having served in the Armed Forces. JB was discharged in Southern California where he lived for 30 years. He was married and had 3 kids, then divorced. He met is soul mate, Joyce, in 1980 and they were married. He inherited her 5 kids who loved him as their own father. They moved to Parker, AZ in 1985 after being “weekenders” there for years. In March of 2007 they followed their youngest daughter to St. George, where they became a significant pillar in the lives of their grandkids. JB was “Mr. Personality” and would strike up a conversation with anyone. He was known for his positive attitude, cracking jokes, pulling tricks, and strong views. He always found a way to do anything, he was a jack of all trades and even started a plastering business having virtually no experience and very little startup funds. The company is still going strong today with his son running it in California. He always told the kids “don’t ever say you can’t do something”. He leaves behind his wife, Joyce, 8 kids, 19 grandkids, and 18 great grandkids. There will be a void that can never be filled, having him gone. He will be missed every day by so many. We are thankful that we had him in our life. He was a true patriot would enjoy having the last words…Trump 2020.
