Doris Fields, of Edgewood, Ky, age 82, passed away on October 13, 2017. She was born in Newport, KY in 1935. Doris was a lifelong resident of Northern Kentucky, graduated from Holmes High School with the Class of 1953, retired from the Department of the Treasury after 28 years, and was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church. Over the years, she enjoyed playing games, gardening, bowling, shopping, and spending time with her grandkids. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Hilda NeCamp; brother, David NeCamp; sister, Carol Rice; daughter-in-law, Joyce Fields; son-in-law, Mark Vandercook; and grandson, Michael Garback. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Janet NeCamp (Chitwood); her sons, Doug Fields and Jim Fields (Monica); her daughters, Judy Vandercook, Jacqueline Marsan (Richard), Debbie Garback (Mike), and Janelle Wolff (Todd), and by 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A public visitation will be held on October 20, 2017 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, KY. A service will immediately follow the visitation at 11:00am.
