In loving memory of Fred Rogers
10/11/1925 - 5/29/2016

Location: Tarboro, North Carolina

Visits: 41,730

This memorial was created in honor of Ferdinand "Fred" Rogers of Tarboro, North Carolina. Ferdinand was born on October 11, 1925 and passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 7:10am. Please help us celebrate Fred by writing on the Tributes tab, sharing a memory/story on the Memories tab or viewing/adding some photos you have of him in the Gallery. To share you will have to make an account, but it is free and quick.

Grandpa had dementia for quite some time and over the last few years started to decline, physically and mentally. Grandpa served his country in the Army during WWII and was stationed in Germany. While I'm very sad to say Goodbye, I suppose it's fitting he passed during Memorial Day weekend. Grandpa is getting cremated and we plan to eventually spread his ashes - location and date TBD. Look for updates on this page.

While Grandpa Fred is physically gone, we will always have a heart filled of love and memories. And sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

Thank you for visiting and sharing,

Theresa, Jenny and the Kuron Family
