Dear Family, Losing a loved one is a heart-breaking emotional experience that we can never get accustomed to. When a loved one dies, has hope gone forever? Our loving creator promises us at 1 Corinthians 15:26 that, "the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." Soon Jehovah God will completely eradicate death and an essential part of bringing death to nothing involves bringing the dead back to life through the resurrection. The hope God gives us lightens the burden of grief. Death brings sorrow and tears, and it is hard to adjust to the absence of a loved one but we gain comfort and strength from the assurance that the Sovereign Lord Jehovah “will actually swallow up death forever, and will certainly wipe the tears from all faces”!
