Contrary to those who thought the front office ran WMTV, the place would have fallen apart without Bob. He had already worked there 10 years when I started in the news department and kept the place going when I left 20 years later. Bob was the go-to-Mr-Fixit. TV is driven by deadlines and Bob was always cool under fire. He kept the rest of us from going nuts. I am sorry for your loss, Jan. I am sure you will cherish the memories.

Sherry and I knew Bob from the VFW in Oxford. His spot on the corner will always be a reminder of a man that once you talked to, you felt like a lifelong friend. We were honored to be a part of your life and shall forever remember helping you celebrate your 50 years with Jan, and your family at the Post. RIP Bob,saving the corner spot for you.

I worked with Bob for ten years at WMTV and he never had a bad day. He always found something to laugh about. If you ever needed a hand, Bob was willing to help. Sorry for your loss. There are plenty of people with great memories of Bob that will live on.

Jan-Sorry for your loss. I always remember Bob coming to pick you up at Kelly's. Did he even occasionally fill in for us when we were short handed? Say hi to Cricket, Dale, Ron, et al. Take Care, Rick.
