I had just moved to Roseburg for my first teaching job. I remember Jody, bringing Whitney to my classroom as the first parent I met. Her smile and her trust in me gave me much needed confidence. As the year went on, the Nolte family welcomed me as a member of their family. Jody had a way to make me feel valued and loved as she did did with all she met in her life. I remember many cross county skiing trips, especially the annual New Years Day ski from Crater Lake to Diamond Lake. Jody's warmth and love of life will always be with me. She made a difference in my life that I will never forget. Condolences to Paul, Whitney and Courtney.

The Schuylers have many memories of fun times with the Noltes. Our family camping trips to Rock Creek, Waldo Lake and the coast were eventful and never forgotten. We camped, hiked the North Umpqua trail, cross country skied, attended too many sporting events to count, shared Friday night social before the games, supported our girls in Junior Miss, Rally, and many school events. Jody was FUN-full of energy, always ready to have an adventure. She always remembered our birthdays with a call. She was an amazing woman who gave so much to our life. May God hold her in the palm of His hand. Mickie & Bill

I’ll always remember meeting Jody around 1967 at my friend’s slumber party. Jody and her mother, Angie, knew how to tell scary stories!! More recently, I enjoyed running into Jody at Stewart Park and watching movies with her at her home. RIP sweet Jody!
