When I first started dating Chris, we went to his daughter Jessica's baby shower. Karen and Mike were there - and Mike just walked up to me, gave me a hug, and said, "Welcome to the family. We're so happy you're dating Chris." He was such a welcoming, generous, sincere person - a big personality. He used to invite us out to fancy dinners, and the waiters loved him. He treated them like best friends. He will be missed.
