Kathy was a gift to the world. I called her my "Santa Cruz mom" and always delighted in hearing her voice on the phone, asking me about my girls, teasing me about forgetting to pay my bills. We always ended our conversations with a "love you" and our meet ups with a hug. Amongst my best memories of Kathy were when Paul was working at my house and she would show up with treats for him, always so warm and with a joyful smile, despite the difficulties she was experiencing. Kathy was a light in my world, a reminder to be my best self, a beautiful human being who I feel lucky to have known.
She loved her children so much and my heart goes out to Garie Lynn, Paul, Marc, and my beloved friend Matthew...wishing you all peace and sending much love, Larry
