Trina is a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She is a loving soul, courageous, and artistic. Trina loved elephants and balloons. She was quite adventurous always eager to shred fresh powder on her snowboard or carve the asphalt on her longboard. Trina had a contagious smile that could light up the room. She was very outgoing and her loving personality made others feel comfortable and at ease. Trina was very nurturing. She was always surrounded by her many nieces and nephews. Trina developed a special connection with all of her nieces and nephews. It is no surprise that she was the favorite aunt to each of them. Trina left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was always a blast while hanging out, full of energy and youthful vitality. Trina was extremely intelligent. She was a certified massage therapist and attending school to become a nurse. Trina loved her family. She was always there to lend a hand. She loved the outdoors, nature and tanning. She was passionate about everything in which she endeavored. Her most recent passion was Frisbee golf. She tried to coax everyone to just play one round. As a sister, Trina was one who you could trust and count on. She was someone you could confide in and share your deepest secrets and most personal of emotions. She was a best friend who was always there. Trina was always understanding and never passed judgement. She welcomed all with open arms and warm acceptance. Her presence and embrace will be missed by all who knew her. She is deeply loved and will always be fondly remembered.

Current Memories

Another black sheep gained her wings yesterday.Trina and I were cousins and roommates. All I can say is Trina helped me push limits.Trina and I had ups and downs we conquered with smiles, tears and hugs.I am so very greatful for some good memories.Trina tried very hard to teach my to tease my hair still can't do it that good.Trina took me out one night for a girls night before I knew it I was thinking of moves to do for a short black dress contest at Whiskey Row I lost but it was nice to have her cheering me on.Trina had her contacts in that night there were so beautiful but had me jumping and spilling drinks everywhere all night.Trina and her car issues happened regularly so that was one of the few places we sang together and bonded for hours. One thing I admired was her determination no matter how many times we stalled on the freeway we had to be home by sunset because she had a hot date.Never a dull moment!LOVE YOU!

I first met Trina at Tara's home around Thanksgiving time 2016. I was immediately drawn to her warmth and smile. She always lit up the room, even when she tried so hard not to! She was warm and caring and always wanted to know what was going on in your life. But more than the superficial stuff, Trina always asked me about what was going on inside. We had lunch in May 2017 and she told me how excited she was about nursing school and how she was ready for her new adventure. Her loss was shocking to me and I can't imagine what it must be like for her family and especially my best friend, her sister Tara. Trina and Tara shared a unique relationship of love and respect, caring and compassion. I will miss connecting with Trina. She touched my life in a very special way and she will always be in my thoughts.
