I met him first time Christmas1983 when Lorna and I went to Ottawa . He was very welcoming and and interesting and remained that way: great brother-in-law, wonderful uncle to my children and brother to my wife

One of my favourite parts of visiting Ontario as a kid was getting to see the cars Uncle Rob was working on. It was always nice to spend time with him.

In 2019, Uncle Rob and Aunt Jo flew to Newfoundland for my wedding. I'm very grateful they were able to come and share the day with us- it meant the world to have them there, and I know my dad certainly appreciated Rob helping him shuck all the oysters! We will miss him greatly and we were lucky to have him with us. -Cait
