Brief history of the late Belden in The STAR Chorale.
The late Belden Nyabuto. joined The STAR Chorale in February 2017 and was admitted as a member of Tenor 2 voice. Later on in 2018,Belden was shifted to Tenor one because of his powerful and higher vocal ability.
He was a teacher, singer, arranger, Director, composer and a lover of music. He was a fourth year student at Kenyatta University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in the faculty of Education( Music and Kiswahili). His philosophy in life was 'Christ Alone shall Lead.'
Belden was smart, challenging, empathetic, encouraging and an asset to The STAR Chorale. He always thrived to better himself as a person and a professional. He always consulted and was soft spoken, he never judged.
Belden has left a big gap in the group. We will miss his arrangements, the latest one to be performed by The STAR Chorale being Ekebwe/Obori bwa baba, an arrangement of a Gusii folk tunes during our 5th Anniversary Concert.
As The STAR Chorale ,We shall miss his funny choreography steps, instant harmonic ideas, Wonderful Adventist vocals, Elegant dress code, Productive warm up sessions and his solid spiritual beliefs. His smile shall be missed by everyone who knew him.
May you sing and dance with the angels Belden.
