GIVING THANKS
Dear God, Thank you for Corrine Gibbon We love her and we will miss her She spent many wonderful years with us So we will try not to be greedy We will try to be satisfied with that time Corrine, we understand you leaving us You received an invitation you could not turn down To be with your husband, in a place you always heard about Where the food is divine The drink ever flowing The music is so wonderful, it will make you laugh and cry at the same time And most of all, you get to meet THE GREAT ONE, HIMSELF What a homecoming! What a celebration! Who in their right mind could turn down such an invite We know your husband, George who went before, is rejoicing He finally gets to be with you again after 34 years Your home going was his birthday What a birthday present! Good times together again, Corrine and George, good times! Corrine, for those of us you left behind We know you wouldn’t want us to dwell too long on the sadness So, we’ll think instead on the joy you brought to all who knew you We’ll remember your laugher and wisdom, your caring kindness Thank you for Corrine Gibbon, GOD, thank you! Corrine Gibbon is my baby whom I called Gibby. Everyday that I get up I still look to see if Gibby is up. I will forever miss you my dear Gibby. I can't be selfish so I have to let you go. I rather you in the arms of your Saviour and not here in pain. My Love for you will never die.

My beloved Grandmother. Your infectious love permeated my heart and every essence of my being. Your absence has caused my heart to forever skip a beat. I am tremendously thankful for all of the times we have shared. Every fiber of me reflects pieces of you. I will forever honor, cherish and share your memories. As long as I breathe you will forever be mentioned. You have labored tirelessly, time to take your eternal rest and reunite with your forever (even unto death) love of your life, George H Gibbon. Kiss Grandpa for me. Grandma you will be etched in my heart forever and always. I will Love You until my last breath! Your "One Dran".
