I just heard that Dave passed away. My heart aches because of this. My mom worked closely with him for several years on her radio show. I got to know Dave through her show along with the chat room he had. It was an honor knowing such a remarkable and nice man. He always had wonderful things to say to me and gave me some wonderful advice concerning sobriety. He was a wonderful man and he will be missed.

I only had the opportunity to get to know Dave over the past few months, but he won my heart right from the start with his authenticity. Dave was truly one of the most authentic people I have ever known. A true Soldier of Truth in every sense.
Dave welcomed me with open arms into his Wolf Spirit family and allowed me, as too the other hosts, the space to have my voice. As a newbie to radio-land, I was nervous but with Dave as my producer, I quickly toughened up through his sweet support and positive feedback.
It’s been an emotional week and I expect it to be especially difficult when I do my next show. I am going to miss his countdowns, they were so special to me for some reason, not sure why. “1, 2, 3…and you’re live” I can hear him now and through the tears it at least makes me smile.
I will never forget him and I will always be grateful for our brief but meaningful friendship.
I love and miss you, my dear friend.
