Daniel Joseph Pickett, of Pagosa Springs CO passed away Tuesday August 15, 2017 at the age 49 at his sister's home in Lake St. Louis Missouri.

Dan was born November 15, 1967 in St. Louis, MO. He was a high school
graduate of Francis Howell HS class of 1986 and a college graduate from UNLV.

Dan is preceded in death by his father Rayford M Pickett Sr., Stepmother Jeannie Pickett and mother Ruth A Pickett.

Dan is survived by his siblings Tammy (Pickett) Brooks & John Brooks, Ray M Pickett Jr & Lisa (Scharfinski) Pickett, Brian Epperson, Larry Epperson, Wendy (Epperson) White, nephews & nieces Chris & Michelle Brooks & great niece Parker Lynn Brooks, Eric & Nicole Brooks, Jake & Kelly (Brooks) Smith, Kenny Pickett, Tina Pickett, Craig Copeland, Cari Feldewerth, Chelsey Wolfe, Cory Epperson, Jessica Epperson, and Jeremy Epperson.

Dan loved his family, friends, and his pets. He especially loved his mountain property in Pagosa Springs where he could hunt and take in the beauty of mother nature! He will be greatly missed and is in our hearts forever!

The Pickett and Brooks family would like to say thank you for the outpouring of love and condolences from everyone! We are overwhelmed by your kindness.

Per Dan's request, we held a memorial party last April so he could be there to visit with everyone. There will be a private service in Pagosa Springs CO sometime in the future with the date and time to be determined but no additional service is planned in Missouri.

Again, we were so overwhelmed by all the visitors, gifts, meals, prayers, phone calls, and emails! As well we are thankful to the SSM Health at Home Hospice staff for their excellent care and compassion.
